⚡ Hive Output System

Understanding Hive output Management

Every island has a Hive Output limit - this is the total """power capacity""" available for your extractors.

Hive Output Calculation

  • Each extractor consumes a specific amount of Hive Output

  • Total Hive Output Used = Sum of all placed extractors' Hive Output consumption

  • Usage Percentage = (Total Hive Output Used / Island Hive Output) × 100

Example Power Management

On Isle of Beginnings (28 Hive Output):

  • 2× Saplink Spinner (6 Hive Output each) = 12 Hive Output

  • 1× Combline Alpha (8 Hive Output ) = 8 Hive Output

  • Total Used: 20/28 (71%) - Still room for one more small extractor!

⚡ Nectar Flow System

Nectar Flow (L/s) stands for Liters per Second, and it represents the rate at which an extractor generates $MELI.

Think of it as your yield speed—the higher the Nectar Flow, the faster your extractor produces $MELI during each block cycle.

Every extractor has a different Nectar Flow based on its design, Hive Ouput, and efficiency.

You’ll be able to see your individual Nectar Flow, the global total, and your exact share of the emission per block in real time.

Nectar Flow Statistics

💡 Tip: Pair high-flow extractors with large islands to avoid bottlenecks and make the most of every drop.

✂️ Rewards Halving

The Halving is a core part of Apiarist Finance’s emission model.

Every 127,000 blocks (3 DAYS), the total amount of $MELI distributed per block is cut in half.

This means that over time, the token becomes increasingly scarce, rewarding early participants and long-term planners.

This mechanic mirrors the economic models of assets like Bitcoin, where decreasing emissions create a natural scarcity and long-term value preservation.

🤔 FAQ

General Questions

Q: How do I start playing? A: Connect your Web3 wallet, Buy your Isle of Beginnings, and place your first free extractors on the white tiles.

Q: What's the goal of the game? A: Build the most efficient honey extraction operation by strategically placing extractors and upgrading to more powerful islands.

Q: Can I lose my progress? A: No! Everything is stored on the blockchain, so your islands and extractors are permanently yours.

Technical Questions

Q: Why can't I place more extractors? A: You've reached your island's Hive Output limit. Upgrade your island or replace extractors with more efficient ones.

Q: How do island upgrades work? A: Pay the upgrade cost in tokens, wait for blockchain confirmation, and you'll instantly have access to a larger, more powerful island.

Q: What's the cooldown period? A: After upgrading an island, you must wait a specified time before upgrading again. This prevents rapid progression and adds strategic timing.

Strategy Questions

Q: Which extractors should I buy first? A: Start with Saplink Spinners for cost efficiency, then upgrade to Amber Pulse units for better Hive Output efficiency.

Q: When should I upgrade my island? A: When you've maximized your current island's capacity and have enough tokens for the next upgrade.

Q: What's the most efficient extractor? A: Bear Maw Reactor has the highest efficiency, but Honey Extractors offer good efficiency at a lower cost.

Troubleshooting

Q: My transaction failed. What happened? A: Check that you have enough tokens and have approved spending. Also ensure you have sufficient gas fees.

Q: I can't see my extractors after placing them. A: Refresh the page or check that your wallet is still connected. The blockchain may need a moment to update.

Q: The game won't load. A: Ensure your wallet is connected and you're on the correct network. Try refreshing the page.
